My Story

Are you looking for a super special, one of a kind dog? Well look no further. Chuckie may be all you are looking for and more. This unique pup is crate trained, knows how to sit, comes at a gallop when you give a little whistle and is trained to an invisible fence. He is microchipped, up to date on all his shots and neutered.

So are you looking for one who is not afraid of commitment? Chuckie is ready to give you his heart and soul. He yearns to be a devoted and loving companion for his whole life. Chuckie is a rather shy, reserved and quiet guy and he would like a mature person to go for long walks or, if you prefer, a short one. As long as it is a walk, Chuckie will be delighted to accompany you. Chuckie does prefer mature persons, very active children are really not his thing, but he will cuddle with the quiet ones.

Other dogs are fine, he really looks up to his big foster brother and likes to play with him. Dog savvy cats would be acceptable too. So what are you waiting for???? Chuckie is waiting to hear those special words, "Chuckie, You are the One for me. Let's go home!!!! "

Chuckie is in Southern Maine, please consider him for your newest member of the family. Applications can be found at www.almosthomerescue.net and can be e-mailed to Lonepine_AHR@yahoo for this particular dog.

These animals are in dire need of homes. If you cannot provide a home, sponsors are welcome and needed for heartworm treatment and/or other medical expenses for dogs coming to New England. Foster families are also needed from time to time. Fostering a healthy dog or one that is in treatment will also save lives!

We pay a Transportation Service from Arkansas to bring the dogs to New England. The adoption fee is $250.00 for altered dogs. $350. for unaltered puppies, with $100 refundable after spay/neuter. All dogs 6 years or older have a reduced adoption fee of $200. (includes vaccinations, spay/neuter and transport from AR) For more information, please visit our webpage at www.almosthomerescue.net
