Chuckie is an 8 month old adorable little man who was part of a large litter that was adopted out as puppies.
Chuckie was in a home for several months, but the main person in his life went back to college. The rest of the family did not feel the same connection, so Chuckie was surrendered to the shelter. It has been a tough transition in his young life.
Chuckie is a shy when meeting new people, but when he is comfortable, he is a typical young dog. He speeds around the yard and then skids into his human for petting before taking off again. His leash skills are improving daily, and he loves the experience of seeing new things.
Chuckie is good with children (although older children would be better due to his shyness) and he loves other dogs. He also seems to ignore cats.
Chuckie is looking for a calm, kind household that would open their heart to him and continue his training on basic manners..
The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
