Chuck

Chuck is a large, adult, male terrier mix that ended up in a local, rural animal control in September of 2023. No one claimed him even though he had a green collar and yellow harness to identify him. Chuck escaped the euthanasia list because the animal control officer was persistent about finding a rescue for this very sweet boy. Chuck is a big boy. He takes his treats very gently. Even though he has been behind kennel gates for months now (before recently arriving at The ARK), he has been unfazed by his unfortunate situation. He brings a smile to volunteers’ faces as he waits patiently at his kennel door. We do not send animals home without a vet/reference check.
