My Story

This dear dog is Chu Chu and he is an 11 year old dachshund who's owner passed away in June. Chu ended up in the shelter and no one from the family came to get him even though the shelter contacted next of kin. Poor Chu was waiting for someone he knew to come, but no one did. He has some new friends now in a foster care home with 2 other dogs and is doing well - he's a very friendly sociable boy. Here is what foster mom says about dear Chu: He is a very well adjusted sweet dog who is always happily wagging his tail. He loves to stroll on walks and he is good on his leash. He is a low energy dog, but has lots of life still in him. He enjoys playing with his toys, going in the car, or just being with you on the sofa. All his vetting has been done now and it was discovered that he has Cushings. The meds are 70.00 per month and once every 6 months he needs a blood test at 130.00 for the test. We are only adopting to someone who will be sure his health needs are met. Trust us, he's worth every penny and we are always honest and upfront about our dogs' medical conditions.
