Chocolate is a very unique looking dog that always has a smile on her face. She came from a home in Corpus Christi in which she was bought as a companion for the family guard dog. The elderly owner was placed in a retirement home so chocolate and her best friend were forced to find new residency. She is very sweet and gets along great with other dogs and kids. However she is very hand shy – due to lack of affection. Not Abuse. Her foster mom is slowly getting her out of her shell. She is house trained and knows how to use a doggy door – she handles a leash okay and listens very well. She is about 5 years old and very sweet.
