Thank you!** Meet Chloe Soul - a one year month old, Shepherd / Border Collie mix, who weighs 51 pounds (as of 8/6/24). Chloe is all about Soul - thus her name. She has a kind spirit and just wants to please her people. She is loving, smart, and absolutely the best cuddler on the planet!! She loves to go for walks, car rides and is a fan of a good swim every now and then. She is incredibly well mannered and knows many commands including sit, down, place, come, potty and paw. She is food motivated so she learns new things very easily. She is good around other dogs and also fine with cats. And in southern foster she was wonderful with kids too. She is housebroken, and thought she doesn't like her crate she is trustworthy without it. This girls only down side is that she can get frightened by loud noises including thunderstorms. So what - who wouldn't find a way to deal with that after everything we just said about her?? Her gentle nature makes her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a calm and comforting presence in their life. But she is also happy to be your sidekick outdoors for adventures. She is absolutely the full package!! Chloe has so much potential to bring joy and happiness into a home. And wow what a lucky home that will be!! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
