Thank you for visiting Chloe!
She is the cutest thing, isn’t she? Chloe was born on 1/2/06. We rescued her when she broke her elbow and her owners were going to euthanize her because they said they couldn’t afford the surgery. The surgery cost $1800, but she is worth every penny and then some. We believe her to be a purebred Labrador Retriever. She is going to be petite, she only weighs about 50#.
After Chloe was spayed she started to “leak” urine. She will need to be on PROIN her whole life. It is a relatively inexpensive drug, about $8/month. Her adoption fee includes a 6 month supply of PROIN.
Chloe is absolutely the best little puppy in the world. She loves to be in your lap, although she is too big for it. The minute you sit down, she’s right there, so you just have to prepare yourself. She is a great little retriever, fetching and bringing it back.
Chloe is housetrained and crate trained. She walks pretty well on a leash, although we don’t use a leash at all for our normal routine. She stays right by her person.
Chloe is extremely playful with other dogs and cats. The dogs like it, the cats aren’t too thrilled when she has their head in her mouth! Chloe is still a little jumpy and we are working on that, but she’s so darn cute, it’s hard to discipline her! Chloe likes being with her person, she goes to work with us everyday. Going to a home that crates her 8-10 hours a day may be difficult for her and is not something that we want for her..
Chloe is a very lucky girl and the family who adopts her will need to be very special.
This dog's adoption fee is $400 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, 6-month supply of PROIN, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
