Boy, this picture doesn't do me justice...new pics soon please! I am a sweet 2 y.o. black labbie girl. Hunter is one of my pups. My silly owners decided that after 2 years of devotion on my part, that a new grandbaby was a reason to get rid of me. Don't they know what great family dogs labs are???? We love kids!!! I am really hoping that there are some smarter and more compassionate people in NH....I've heard great things about being a dog in New England....I really hope they're true. I am spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on my vaccinations and a real sweetheart. My adoption donation is $250 to help defray my veterinary bills and other incidentals that were necessary to get me ready for adoption. I am so happy to be somewhere safe...where dogs are cherished! I really want to please and am very attentive. My foster mom says I need some exersize...could use to lose a few pounds...but hey...has she looked in a mirror? She & I are both eating carrots for treats and trying to regain our girlish figures. I love all of the other dogs...large & small. Its great when her grandaughter visits...she's 5 & loves dogs as much as I love kids....I can't believe how lucky I am to finally be here in NH (it is as good as everyone said it would be!). I am so full of love...I even wear my heart on my tongue! Check out my new pic.... 5/10/09 NEWSFLASH....now that I've had a bath, it turns out that I am not a black lab at all! I am a chocolate lab with a dark seal brown coat...like semi-sweet chocolate...yummmm.
