WELL, HOWDY! WHAT? I'm screaming? Sorry. I'm a little deaf so I guess I didn't realize. I'm Dilbert and a finer senior citizen I dare you to try to locate. I'm 11 years old but I don't think you can tell that by looking at me. I'm still a fine figure of a dog. I love other dogs, but cats tend to drive me a little bonkers. Age has made me a little slower and less steady and maybe all my senses are not working as they once did, but I have a lot of love to give. Although I love children, I should probably go to a home where there are no kids because I just can't see or hear them coming and don't like surprises as much as I did when I was younger. How did a gorgeous purebred Golden Retriever like me end up in rescue? It's a sorry state of affairs, but my previous owner had too many dogs so he chose to give up the oldest one in the group. I find that confusing but won't let it bother me as long as I get some attention, a soft bed, and some special treats!

We require an application, phone interview, and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed.
