Meet Chili the sweetest girl with a dash of spice! Female | Border Collie Mix | 10lbs | 11 weeks | Good with dogs, kids Rescued from Ontario Currently being fostered in Toronto, ON Background : Chili was rescued with help from our local rescue partners from a backyard breeder her in Ontario where she has been in her loving foster home awaiting her furever family. Personality: Chili is as sweet as can be who loves to be with her people, choosing to hop into your lap after a play session. She is the perfect balance of puppy energy and mellow as she will happy spend the afternoon dozing her crate after her morning zoomies and enrichment. Chili is a typical puppy who can be a bit of a land shark but is easily directed with toys. She is a very smart girl who picks up cues quickly and loves to explore outside. Ideal Home: Due to Chili’s love of play and sniffing, she will likely grow into a higher energy dog. She is looking for a home who will fill her days with training, enrichment toys, fun and lots of snuggles. Chili loves to be included so a family who will include her in their outdoor adventures would make her very happy. Chili is brave outdoors and is currently being fostered in a condo. She would do well in a busy neighbourhood or a more suburban setting, as long as she has plenty of access to green space she will thrive.Chili would do well in a home with older, dog savvy children would be best. Training/Activity: Chili is very quick to pick up on commands and new tricks. She is almost fully house trained, having very few accidents if her schedule is followed. Chili is still learning how to walk on a leash but she loves to be outdoors and enjoys exploring her environment and a good sniffari. Chili is very smart and would thrive in agility classes or lure courses when she grows up and is looking for a family who will be diligent with her on-going training, ensuring she gets all the mental and physical enrichment she requires. Give a summary: Chili can best be described as a love bug. She simply wants to play and snuggle. One of Chili’s favourite things to do is bring you her toys to show them to you after a zoomie sessions and then climb all over you to settle in your lap for a snooze.
