From volunteer:
Chief is an extremely sweet dog and did very well in the car with me! He either sat or laid down which was great. He is very comfortable with every human he comes across and loves to play, lick, and be cuddled. He also walks on the leash super well and after I ran with him for a bit, he didn’t pull or tug on the leash at all while we walked. He would be a great dog to take on a morning run with! All in all, he seems like the perfect family dog but would probably need to be the only dog in the family. I loved hanging out with him for the day and all he needs is some love from a family and a quieter environment than the shelter!!
