My Story

Chief is a large male giant schnauzer. He is now on thyroid medicine so he will be dropping some pounds over the next few weeks. He is very sweet and looking for a home where he can be a couch potato. He has natural ears and a docked tail. He is eight years old and has lived with a single lady up to this point. She was his second owner and we don't know why he was given up the first time. He is very quiet and has good house manners. He is supposed to be good with people and other dogs. He might be OK with cats. It will be a couple of weeks before he is ready for adoption. We want to get some weight off of him and actually observe these behaviors. Right now all of the information is from the owner turn in sheet. Chief is available for adoption in Arizona and can be met if you are interested. Please email for his location. Chief is about seven years old and doing very well since he has come into rescue.

Update on Chief is that he has lost 17 pounds and is a wonderful boy! He gets along with other dogs and loves people. He does a great giant lean with people. We have two personal male giants that are seven and they are wonderful companions. Chief will make a wonderful companion with many good years left. He would love for you to come and visit him and check him out. He is a real sweetheart!
