While I may be a bit wary of strangers at first, give me a little time, and I'll warm up to you with my irresistible charm. I love being around other dogs, but I do like to think I'm the boss, which not all dogs appreciate—lol! My favorite pastime? Running around, of course! My energetic self loves nothing more than stretching my legs and exploring every nook and cranny of my surroundings. Whether it's a romp in the park or a game of fetch in the backyard, I’m always up for some outdoor fun. But despite my love for adventure, I am a true people pup at heart. I thrive on companionship and prefer to be always by your side. My foster mom says I'm a sweet boy, a great cuddler, and I love people.Whether you're lounging on the couch or out for a stroll, I am happiest when I’m with my favorite humans. I am shy and need someone who won't rush me While Chicco may be best suited for a home without small children, he's sure to bring joy and laughter into the lives of his adult companions. With his playful spirit and unwavering loyalty, Chicco is guaranteed to steal your heart from the moment you meet him! She/He is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. We cannot hold our dogs for any reason. Unless the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will only consider applications that are within 1 hour or 40 miles of Lemont, IL. This is due to the required vetting at our partner veterinarians. If the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will allow adoptions out of state or outside of our 1 hour or 40 mile restriction. Please do not apply unless you are ready to meet and welcome a new companion into the home within five days of approval. ADOPTION FEE: $300(includes spay/neuter must be done when the rescue schedules it at one of our partner vets, microchip, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichia, Lyme Disease ) and a general wellness which includes dewormer, heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention) Interested?
