Their mommy "Dixie Chick" turned out to be pregnant, and she had "Chickletts!" These adorable, playful puppies were born the day after Christmas by c-section. These 3 pics were taken at 6-7 weeks old, in Feburary. Currently the end of March, 3 months old, little Roscoe is still only about 17 lbs. These pups will be short haired and about 50-55 lbs as adults. ~~ Mommy looks like an American Staffordshire Terrier mix and is VERY friendly and gentle and calm. Daddy could have been a Lab or a Lab/Boxer cross perhaps? ~~~ Roscoe is in a wondeful foster home in Columbus and is making great progress on housetraining and basic obedience, is well socialized to dog, cats, kids. ~~~ The puppies have been wormed, vaccinated, microchipped, on Heartgard, and spayed/neutered. ~~ NOTE: We require a securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions! And never those nasty shock collar "invisible fencing systems."
