Chichi

We know the perfect home is out there for Chichi and we will not give up until that happens! If you are looking for an older, independent, smart, active, grateful dog, Chichi may be a perfect fit. She does need to be the only pet in the house, but one dog will complete your life, guaranteed! Chichi came to us in January 2023 after her previous owner could not care for her any longer. Our wish is to get her into a home environment where she can relax, decompress, and finally live a life full of love, playtime, and the consistency that she needs. At about 7(ish) yrs old, Chichi's playful spirit shines through whenever she's given a toy, or bouncing around with her bone. She rides fantastically in the car, actually loves it! She walks pretty well on the leash, but needs some work. Her nose will take her, and you, in many directions! She is so incredibly smart and wants to please. Chichi knows 'sit', 'wait', 'here/come', 'ball', 'inside' and knows how to roll over. She will excel with basic training and consistency. She may have trust issues from being given up, but once she gets to know you, you will be rewarded with her trust, as she loves all of our volunteers! Chichi would love to be a single dog in a home that is experienced with her breed, or an experienced dog owner that can handle her intensity and drive. She also would like a home with no small children or pets. We know that is a lot to ask, but if you give this amazing, sweet girl a chance she will never leave your side and will be your best friend forever.
