Chi Chi

Hi, my name is Chi Chi. I am a 1 year old, 8 1/2 pound.... Yep, you guessed it, Chihuahua. My 3 pups and I were surrendered to Pawmetto Lifeline. Now they are weaned and off looking for their furever homes. I was a very good and attentive momma, but now I would really like to find a family I can call my own. I am very calm for a 1 year old. Some of my favorite things to do here are walking and laying around in the backyard, taking lots of naps and following my foster mom around the house - and then taking more naps. People seem to gather in the kitchen a lot, so I lay around in there with the other dogs and we watch them talk; sometimes we even get a treat. Btw, I have not shown any signs of food aggression. I have been working on house and crate training and I am doing a really good job. I even sleep through the night in my crate. The 1st day I came to mom's house I was really skittish, but her family (humans and dogs) gave me a little space, and by the next day I was learning I was safe here! I've been learning to trust more each day, and that it's ok to accept attention and I'm safe being picked up. Even though I am perfectly happy sleeping in my crate or hanging out in there while you are in the room, it really scares me when I'm alone. That is something I need to work on, but I don't mind hanging out in the playpen. Won't you please take me home to be part of your family?
