Cheyenne- adopted!

Rumour has it that when Cheyenne's new home got officially approved, there was some screaming in excitement! When foster mom Zoe met Chey's potential folks she knew right away that this was her match. In a whirlwind of adventure Rebecca and Chris quickly fell in love, and well Cheyenne loves absolutely everybody, but she thought that these folks were particularly cool as they thought her kissy ways were great. Cheyenne really deserves an award for mile a minute kissing! She is now living in Burnaby in a busy household that includes two cats and a guinea pig. An update from her people:

Everything seems to be going great. Cheyenne is being a good girl- she's so smart and we all love her. We're looking forward to taking her to the pit bull lessons in the park, and we're also looking into doing a few private sessions with a Rocket Dog trainer. My cats spent yesterday in our bedroom closet but have since ventured downstairs, although we haven't actually managed to get them in the same room together. Still, they're getting braver much more quickly than we thought.

She's met a bunch of my friend and my mom and everyone loves her. Not as much as us- we're so happy she came to live with us.

Hi so my name is Cheyenne, and I am a pretty cute little thing if I do say so myself! I am the best girl ever. I live with 2 other dogs, a girl and a boy and I love them dearly. I can be a bit fussy about meeting new dogs, but once I like them I really do love 'em. We take naps together and play together and I think they are just great. As a bonus I am also a-ok with those feline types.

I am 100% house trained and will sleep quietly in a crate when you are away. I can be trusted in the house and once I have had my play outside I just quietly lounge around in the house. I am really a sweet girl and you can trust me. I am a very smart girl, so I enjoy listening to my people, learning new tricks and I do best when there are boundaries set for me. But then again every good dog should have some boundaries. I would love to get into some agility classes or perfect my obedience. Maybe we can be on animal planet some day and I can be one of those super duper obedience dogs that does lots of tricks. I love goign hiking and playing in the yard. I even know how to spell. You spell the the T-O-Y, which is my string on a stick, and I will patiently wait for you to get my toy so we can play.

I love my people and love taking directions from them. I walk well on leash and not to mention I love sleeping in bed with my humans, cuddling and giving kisses. Due to the fact that some times I love my people so much that I get excited. I would never hurt a soul, and I love the kids I live with so much! We could cuddle together !! I am so ready for a home of my own!
