Chewie

CHEWIE IS BEING FOSTERED IN OHIO. Chewie was rescued from a county shelter in central Ohio. He is estimated to be 3 years old, is fully vaccinated and neutered. He is about 50 lbs and is fit and agile. Chewie takes life as it comes, for the most part. He has been very good about meeting new people and animals. He is quite affectionate with people and loves to play with other dogs. He will chase cats outside if they run, but coexists nicely with them indoors. Once off lead, he did chase chickens but was called off of the pursuit. He has very good recall, as that demonstrates. Chewie is learning how to share his toys and is a little nervous about being left alone. He is working thorough these issues nicely and has shown great improvement. He only needs soft corrections. He would probably be happiest if he were with someone who was mostly home or in a home with other animals. He is a world-class handshaker.
