My Story

Foster Mom Report - January 2010

Chewey had made some great progress. He goes out to do his business and rarely has an accident in the house. Recently, a new, very timid, foster sister was introduced and he was the perfect gentleman towards her. He allowed her to take his bed and after realizing she was not eager to play, he let her be. Chewey does like to play and will bring you a toy for a game of tug of war. He has a lot of spunk for a senior. He loves to cuddle up and at six and half pounds, he fits perfectly in your lap – one of his favourite places.

Foster Mom Report

Chewey is a sweet, affection dog. He loves to curl up on your lap or hide under a blanket. It is so cute. He gets along with his foster sister (1yr old Pomeranian). They play, eat and walk very nicely together. He would make a great companion for another dog, young or old. For someone who wants a lap dog, he is definitely your little man. He only barks when someone is at the door or I return home. His bark is almost as if he is talking and you would think he is actually saying “Hello”. He uses this “talking” to let you know he loves his belly rubbed and to his little foster sister to let her know he has had enough. He is obedient and adjusts to new routines competently. Chewey’s requires only love and affection, which he will eagerly give in return.
