My Story

Chester is looking for his forever home :o) Here's what his fostermom has to say about him: Chester's a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, approx. 5-6 years old. He's a REAL ham! He's playful, knows commands, and is a BLAST to play with (extremely attentive)! He's gentle, playful, very friendly with other dogs (very patient with puppies), very good with children, very courteous with other critters (cats, chickens, etc.). He demonstrates affection and loyalty and deserves a home that will give the same. He's had heartworm treatment and awaits neutering. The cost of neutering will be covered by a local rescue group if necessary. Chesapeake Bay Retrievers are often working dogs because of their versatility, strength, endurance, and loyal devotion. Some of their many service jobs include working with drug enforcement agencies, visiting hospitals and nursing homes, and search and rescue work--even as avalanche and sled dogs. They excel in field and obedience trials. Please contact [email protected] for more info!
