We call him "Chester The Magnificent" because he's got it all - outstanding personality, excellent house manners, handsome appearance, amazing temperment! Chester is without doubt the best family dog we've had in rescue in years. He loves children of all ages but would be best with older kids due to his size. He gets along very well with other dogs and with cats. Chester loves to go for walks, play ball, ride in the car or just hang with someone who will tell him what a great boy he is. He is 6 years old, in good health except for being somewhat overweight and having mild arthritis. Chester is on a prescription medication for his arthritis and will probably need this for the rest of his life although we've been able to reduce the dosage as his weight has gone down. We think it's a small price to pay for this amazingly wonderful family dog.
