I came to this rescue after running away from my former owners. I won't say why and was very, very shy when rescued. I wouldn't even look up when someone spoke to me. I still keep pretty much to myself but I've got a place in the pack here and even have made some new friends. Life is good and I've learned to trust humans once again.
I'm a medium-sized dog, and weighed 47 pounds at last checkup. I've been spayed and am current on all my shots. The vet guessed my age to be under three years. And yes, I have the distinct, unique markings of a Ridgeback. I'm a quiet, obedient lady who prefers to stay outside during the day. If kept inside, I am a complete lady and don't investigate anything that isn't mine. I prefer to sleep under the kitchen table or next to the front door. Just don't lock me up in a crate!
