My Story

Please note that financial sponsorship will be applied to the specific animal you indicate unless it is not needed, at which time we will let you designate it for another HT animal of your choice.

Chesney is one total cutie pie. He was born on March 17th along with 8 brothers and sisters. When we got his mom safely out of the shelter (her photo is included with Chesney's listing) when her time was up there - she was due with puppies. Chesney's mom is a puggle mix and we think the dad must have been a beagle mix. Chesney is an ideal puppy. He is loving and wants to be with you. He loves your lap and loves to nap in it. After all, isn't that what laps are for? He loves to play with his toys and the cats that are in foster care with him. He will chase a toy you throw - but don't count on getting it back quickly :) He is very friendly with new people and likes kids. He may give a couple of barks at unfamiliar things. He loves to sleep with his foster mom and is doing great with his leash walking and housebreaking. We are looking for families who have the time to take a puppy through the puppy socialization via puppy kindergarten and basic obedience. Chesney recently sustained an injury when a gate was opened at the foster's yard. Fortunately he is 100% okay and will heal easily from his injury with no future impact to him as a result of the hurt paw. Chesney was recently neutered and is up to date with all his puppy shots including rabies shot and is just a sweetheart of a pooch. For more information, please contact Maria below.
