My Story

Cherry Pi's is 3 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. Her personality is as delightful as her name suggests. She's friendly, chill, playful, and an expert cuddler. And oh, did we mention she's a cute snorer? This social butterfly loves people and even enjoys visits to the vet! Her energy level is medium, making her a great companion for leisurely walks and playtime in the yard. Cherry Pi would thrive in a home with calm dogs, as she prefers respectful canine pals. However, she cannot be trusted around cats. She plays well with toys, especially balls, frisbees, tugs, kongs, and puzzle feeders. She's spayed, up-to-date on shots, and heartworm prevention. While she's not microchipped yet, it will be taken care of before adoption. Cherry Pi is both house and crate-trained, and she actually loves her crate! As for her diet, she enjoys 1 cup of kibble for breakfast and another cup for dinner, along with plenty of treats for being such a good girl. This adorable girl is good with people of all genders and strangers, although she hasn't met young kids yet. She barks at strangers from a distance but warms up once they greet her. Cherry Pi is not overly protective and responds well to recall commands. She can be left alone in her crate for up to 6 hours. At night, she snoozes in her cozy crate. She recently had cherry eye surgery, which is healing well. She doesn't require any medication, just monthly preventatives. This well-behaved pup walks nicely on a leash with the help of a front clip harness. She knows commands like coming to her name, sit, and down, and she's eager to learn more. Cherry Pi enjoys being groomed and bathed, and guess what? She absolutely adores car rides! While there are no signs of animal abuse, Cherry Pi was a stray, so her background is unknown. She may experience some separation anxiety initially but does well in her crate and quickly calms down. If you're interested in adopting Cherry Pi, please keep in mind that she would do best in a home without cats and with slow introductions to other dogs. School-age kids or older would be a great fit for her. Transportation assistance can be provided for long-distance adoptions. Let's find Cherry Pi her forever home filled with endless love!
