Cherry #A-133004 is an 8 month old female who came in as an adoption return on 3/10 due to issues with the landlord. The owner described her as "high energy She originally was found as a stray tied to a fence in west Philly. The finder notes :She easily let me approach her, showed no signs of aggression, and was grateful to snuggle into me for warmth. I waited with her for acct to arrive and she was playful and affectionate with me and the person transporting her, easily allowing him to take her into the van. " Cherry is an energetic young puppy who would flourish in an environment with a patient adopter who is willing to work with her on training. Like any puppy, she needs work on leash manners and can become very hyper on walks, which sometimes escalates into leash biting and mouthiness. She is very food motivated and will sit for treats, eager to please. Cherry's ideal adopter is willing to put in time to help her work on her manners and can provide an active lifestyle to channel her energy. Her adopter should be willing to spend time with her in the home to help her decompress and won't be gone for long periods of time. She will reward your patience with all her love, affection, and puppy snuggles. On 2/24 staff noted "Cherry is a full body wiggle small pittie girl.
