Chelsea

Chelsea is an 11 week old Doberman Pinscher/South African Boerbel mix that was surrendered to our group by her owner, along with her 3 brothers, because her owner was being evicted from her home. Her owner told us that her female Doberman Pinscher had accidently gotten pregnant by her male Boerbel. There were originally 7 puppies. The owner was able to find homes for 3, but was still in search of homes for the others, when she was served with an eviction notice. This is when she got in contact with our group with her plea for us to take the remaining 4 pups right away! We agreed to take the pups as long as she let us spay the mother dog so that this doesn't happen again. Chelsea is now a part of our rescue. She is a beautiful large boned girl, with a docked tail. She is a little under weight, but her foster mom is working on getting her up to where she should be. Chelsea is in a local foster home with other dogs, cats, and birds. She is around people constantly and is working on her house training. She has a very sweet disposition. Chelsea would make a great pet for any environment, as long as there is room for her to roam, as we feel she is going to be large based on her paws, her mix, and the fact that she is already over 20lbs at 11 weeks old and she is underweight.
