CONGRATS TO ALL AND MANY HAPPY YEARS TO COME! 3/24/2010:CHECKERS HAS BEEN NEUTERED AND IS READY TO JOIN HIS NEW MOM ON 3/31.CHECKERS IS CURRENTLY PENDING ADOPTION!Checkers is a sweet boy although somewhat shy with new people. He is a larger papillon and would do well with other dogs and kids. Checkers is 100% crate trained but not fully housebroken. He is highly trainable and intelligent so getting him to completely housebreak should not be difficult. We would like to see Checkers with a family who can spoil him everyday! He is excellent with children and other dogs. Checkers is approx 5 years old. He is very agile (great agility candidate)and can climb a 4 ft fence-he will need a fenced yard or be walked. Although he seldom leaves the fenced yard, he has been known to climb out on occassion so his new owner would have to be vigilant. He should fit easily into any home.
