Hi, my name is Chase! I am a 5 yr. old, 60 lb. neutered male Greater Swiss Mountain/Hound dog mix. I’m a sweet, mild-mannered boy who is micro-chipped, up to date on shots, flea & heartworm medications. I also recently had my teeth cleaned, so my breath is nice and fresh! I’m looking for a forever home that can provide me with lots of love and attention. I am friendly with other animals, but I get jealous if I have to compete for your affection, so I would be happiest in a home where I am the only animal. I am house trained and can be left alone for long periods of time with free roam of the house. Unfortunately, I’m afraid of thunderstorms and I can’t be left outside unsupervised because I climb fences. But I’ve had obedience training and I know how to sit, stay, lie down and shake. I love to walk every day and I’ll stay right by your side. I do well when given a bath and ride nicely in the car, but I have never been put in a crate in my foster home, so I don’t know if I’d like it or not. My favorite thing of all is to have you near me so that I can snuggle with you and put my head in your lap. I’m a true gentleman and pretty darn handsome to boot! I promise that I’ll give you all my unconditional love if you’ll share your life with me, so if you’re looking for that one and only special guy to be your forever companion, look no further than me! WE FINALIZE EVERY ADOPTION WITH A HOME VISIT THEREFORE POTENTIAL HOMES MUST BE WITHIN A HOURS DRIVE TIME OF CHARLOTTE NC. A FOSTER PET WILL NOT BE SHIPPED TO SOMEONE LIVING OUTSIDE THE ADOPTION AREA NOR WILL ANYONE BE ALLOWED TO COME PICK A PET UP FROM US. YOU MUST BE 21 TO ADOPT FROM OUR GROUP.
