Chase

CHASE HAS BEEN ADOPTED AND IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Chase and his brother/littermate (pictured together above with the Pelicans' mascot), McBee, were turned into the shelter by their owner because he was moving to an apartment. They'd like to find a home together if at all possible since they've been together their entire lives, but they realize not many people are willing to adopt two older guys (though they're REALLY hoping someone will come along and allow them to stay together). Chase is the smaller of the two, weighing about 20 lbs. and standing about 14 inches tall. He's a dark mahogany sable and white, 10 year old sheltie. Chase has been debarked but still likes to "talk" quite a bit. He also seems to really like the cats in his foster home. Chase's adoption fee is $175.00 (which includes all vaccinations and tests, neuter, dental if needed, blood panel, and microchip). There will be a reduced adoption fee for a home wanting to adopt the two brothers together. We strive to place our shelties in the best possible home for them, which means we reserve the right to turn down any applicant if we feel they are not a good match for the sheltie they want.
