Charlotte is a very fine dog, in the truest sense of the word. She is lovely, both in appearance, and in demeanor.

Lean and elegant, Charlotte is very beautiful. Her head is noble, and her lines are classic. Long ears frame her face, and her large, expressive brown eyes. If she were a character in a novel, she would be described as an individual of obvious depth, refinement and breeding.

But Charlotte's mannered ways are not studied or showy - they are the honest reflection of her goodness. There is a grace in Charlotte that has given her patience and steadfastness. While she may hope for attention, she does not demand it, and she is devoutly grateful for each and every gesture of affection.

Extremely tactile, Charlotte loves to be touched. She is calm and gentle in demeanor. Her stability and constancy may be relied upon in any social situation - she loves people of all ages and sizes. She is comfortable with dogs and cats. Charlotte is impeccable in her house training and behaviors. She glories in the outdoors, and an opportunity to stretch and explore; indoors she contents herself, and takes comfort in the companionship that is offered.

Dogs as compliant and unselfish as Charlotte are very special, but, because they do not make demands, their kindness is often taken for granted, and they lead their lives unnoticed and side-lined. Fortunately, this is not the case with Charlotte; her family is deeply aware that their busy lives have left Charlotte behind. They also know that a dog of her greatness should not go unappreciated and unrewarded.

We know that dogs like Charlotte do not come around very often. She will reward the commitment of an adoptive home with all her heart.
