Charlie (bonded with Bosco)

This month’s been a whirlwind, and somehow it’s already the 29th -a weird extra day in a strange short month, but we’ll take all the extras the calendar can spare! How are you spending this extra time? For Bosco and Charlie, we started the day with a nice breakfast where their medicine definitely wasn’t hiding in their food! Followed promptly by some romping about outside and then back inside for butt-rubs, kisses on the head, and being tucked in for their hours-long daily power nap. At the ripe old ages of ~10 (Bosco) and ~11 (Charlie), don’t need much more than this-but both have missed out on so much in their first go-round of things . Surrendered to us with their skin red, cracked, and infected and their nails so long neither could walk, we’re pretty sure neither got the care they needed. Both boys have since been to the vet and are now on the road to recovery. Surprisingly, despite rather alarming appearances, both had a relatively clean bill of health! Aside from the surface level things, the lumps and bumps that come with age, and some funk on their teeth-everything looked real good!! Now, we just need to find their perfect furever home, and help fill their lives with extra of everything that they didn’t have before. Extra love, extra treats, extra care- extra exercise (hint, hint Charlie), just extra all around! Both boys seem to get along with other dogs, and Bosco wants to be friends with all the cats here (the cats are not as inclined )! Charlie would likely do best in a home without small children, and again Bosco can get along with anyone so long as they are alright with his very generous and gentle kisses and the are ready with never-ending butt-rubs. So make sure to celebrate this Leap Day by making the most of this extra time and coming to meet some of the goodest boys!!
