Charlie is from a high kill shelter in Louisiana. This boy has lost an eye for some reason but sees everything that's going on with the other. Charlie is a very sweet comical boy that loves everyone. He is good with other animals and older children. His coat will need periodic professional clipping to keep him well groomed and adorable. He looks to be a purebred Shih Tzu or Lhasa Apso (I'm not good at telling the difference). If you are looking for a sweet and fun companion then Charlie is your boy. Charlie is just finishing his treatments for heartworm infection
and should be good to go anytime. A simple dose of heartworm preventative should prevent this from ever happening again. He is already neutered, microchipped, shots are up-to-date, wormed, and frontlined. His adoption fee of $400 helps to cover his medical expenses and the $150 transport fee that got him to CT.
