Charlie (05-044) is a 7 to 8 year-old male basset who came to BHRG from the shelter in Columbia County. This small, tri-colored basset tested positive for heartworms, so he'll begin treatment in early June once he's neutered. Charlie is one of those wonderful guys who steals the hearts of those of us in the rescue world. He is spry, loving, and gentle. He seems to get along with people and other dogs. We'll have more info once he's placed in foster care.
