Hi, my name is CHARLIE and I’m looking for a home!! Will you be my hero and give me my fur- ever home? About me – I am a 5-year-old HANDSOME pit bull with a long story. I’ve been through and passed around a lot, no fault of mine but because of circumstances. My story starts when I was a stray in Brooklyn. The police took me to a high-kill shelter in NYC! I was saved by a lady who fostered me and I was adopted. Yahoo!, I had a home! My family then moved Illinois! I loved my family, but I was left in the yard a lot and the neighbor didn’t like pit bulls. The neighbor always taunted me. My family dumped me at Animal Control, and I was at risk again! Luckily some animal friends saved me, but they didn’t have a plan. I went to a board & train home and have been there ever since. I have excelled with my fantastic trainer at the board & train! I know commands and have fun playing with other dogs! My likes: • I love long walks! • Chasing the bouncy ball • Playing and running • Kong with peanut butter (yum!) Note: I will do best with a home that has: • No kids • A fenced yard, but please don’t ignore or leave me out for long periods. • An active owner • I need slow intros when meeting new people or dogs. THE COOLEST THING! My new owner will get FREE IN-HOME TRAINING! I promise to give you lots of kisses if you give me belly rubs and treats!! I hope you come to meet me soon!
