Charlie is a 4 year old neutered male. He is a mix of Collie/Shepherd/Greyhound. Charlie is a very large boy; he weighs 85 lbs. and is quite tall. His previous owner clipped his hair short, but she says that when his coat is fully grown out, he looks like Lassie. Charlie has been on heartworm & flea prevention his entire life. He is housetrained and he knows many commands. Charlie can Sit, Stay, Down, Shake, Catch, and Fetch. You can put his food down and tell him to stay and he will not touch his food. You can also ask him to stay after beginning to eat, and he will let you take his food away. He may know other commands that we have not tried. Charlie gets along with many other dogs here at the shelter. He lived with a 1.5 year old girl and got along well with her.
