Handsome Charlie a 4 year old Male PUG! Newest member of Pet Helpers. He is in much need of some TLC. He is a real sweetheart and a true gentleman. He was living in a kennel area that was built for him outside by his former owners even in this HEAT! He did have shelter however a Pug is not (or any animals in my opinion) a pet to be left outside in this heat or in the cold. Charlie is extremely over weight by 10+ lbs, his nails are long, a rash under his chin we believe is a yeast infection from not being cleaned and from the heat, he has hair lost on his back legs. He will be going to the Vet tomorrow. He had a nice Oatmeal bath tonight I am sure he enjoyed! He is in a cool house with a nice bed and a Pug (Percy) Foster Brother and Foster Sister (Winnie). We will talk to the Vet in the morning and plan on helping Charlie shed some weight so he will feel better and not have such a hard time breathing.
