My Story

Charlie is a one year old Cairn terrier who loves to snuggle, chase a ball and play with toys. He is generally good with other dogs, but can be challenging with bigger dogs. However, after a short time he settles down and does his own thing. He has been very friendly with his foster moms small dogs and her cats. He has been struggling with a urinary tract infection so we're not sure how solid his house training is, but he seems to have the general idea. We'll know better when his UTI is gone. He would greatly benefit from obedience classes as he is VERY smart and likes to learn new things. The socialization would also be good for him. He is pretty good on leash, but likes to sniff everything and will need to learn a few manners. He DOES listen and respond, but when his nose is busy, he sometimes prefers NOT to. While he is highly active, he is not annoying. When he realizes that game time is over, he finds a dog bed and settles down. He is a very snuggly boy and loves to have attention. He would do best in an active home with no children under 10 and a family/person who is familiar with terriers. If you are interested in Charlie, please contact Speaking of Dogs Rescue
