All Planned Pethood dogs and puppies are altered (spayed/neutered) and fully vetted prior to adoption. Dog breed is a best guess by the vet and/or Petfinder breed expert findings. We cannot guarantee breed, weight, age of dogs or final adult size of puppies.

Charlie is a 8 to 10 month old male dapple doxie that was rescued from an area pound where he came in as a stray. He was adopted out, but was returned because Charlie wanted to play and the family's older poodle didn't want to. Charlie is very energetic and needs a fenced in yard. He is next to impossible to catch if he gets away from you at this point. Obedience classes are a must to train him to have a good recall. Charlie is very friendly with people he knows, but he is typical of the doxie breed in wanting to protect his turf from perceived intruders. So he needs to be kenneled when you have visitors. He is almost housebroke, but that is with a regular schedule of going out. Don't expect him to be housebroke if you are going to be gone for 8 to 10 hours a day.
