Charcoal came to Country Acres Rescue along with her Mama and 5-littermates from a rural farm who were keeping them cooped up in a beat-up wooden crate outside. A few weeks ago, the owner of the farm dumped these pups in the woods and threatened to shoot each and every one of them if not picked up by a Rescue or Animal Control. Country Acres heard their story and even though we were beyond full capacity, we could not say "No". Charcoal loves to PLAY now that she feels safe.
