As luck would have it, there’s a wonderful Chantz waiting for you . . . there’ll be no doubt you’ve hit the jackpot when you meet this tall, handsome one year old 70 poundish youngster! What a great personality and boundless young Lab enthusiasm he has. No one is a stranger to friendly, outgoing Chantz for more than a nanosecond!
Chantz is housetrained and knows sit, shake and down. While he is quite good off leash, a Gentle Leader will be best for walks. While happily energetic, he can pay attention and is very eager to please. He makes great eye contact and gives the impression he’s trying to figure out what you’re thinking! Chantz, posing on the back of the sofa in his picture, asked us to tell you he’s happy to hop off the furniture when asked.
Chantz is very playful with other dogs and would love a canine buddy in his new home to pal around with. This very affectionate young guy doesn’t quite realize how big he is and does his best to be a lap dog. Like all young Labs, Chantz will thrive in a home with leadership, consistent daily exercise (and lots of it!), love, a big dose of humor and some patience with his youthful antics. Fetching is a bit of mystery at the moment, but we know he’ll catch on. His forever home will need a 6 foot wooden fence.
