Pics taken 2-1-09......Channuk [Means Gentle Breeze] showed up after Ike, near a volunteer's neighborhood. Had an injured foot and was scared of all humans, but loved other dogs.
Has now been rescued and put into the kennels of our volunteer. Solid black, with German Shephed ears, but body/build of a small Lab. Weighs under 40 lbs.
Spayed , vaccinated, wormed and microchipped on 11/12/08. Did test a very light positive on her heartworm test, but vet recommended she go straight on preventative and recheck in 6 months.
Very loving and playful. Does well with other dogs - not been tested with cats yet. Please call her foster Chris @281-534-2646 to make an appointment to see.
