Chanel Heidi has been returned to foster care and is once again available for adoption. This was thru no fault of her own and her new home will be chosen VERY CAREFULLY. This is an amazingly beautifiul, unbelievably sweet and gentle doxie girl. Chanel was a TRUE RESCUE. She was a breeder dog who was viciously attacked and almost killed by a pack of dogs. Literally torn apart, Chanel teetered between death and life for days. When her vet bill was totaled, her breeder owner abandoned her. There was no way we could let such a beautiful dog be destroyed after she had fought so hard to stay alive! Chanel has now returned home (from intensive care at the vet) and is expected to fully recover from her many severe wounds.
Despite her traumatic past, Chanel is one of the happiest, sweetest, most deserving dogs ever! She is friendly, gets along well with all other dogs and humans, does not chase cats. She has a healthy appetite and is content inside the house (this was the 1st time she had been inside!). Chanel continues to work on her housetraining skills.
