Chandler

It was back in May 2022 when we took in Chandler and his siblings @agirlsbestfriendrescue - They were found as strays in the central valley and landed themselves at an overcrowded shelter that was euthanizing for space. Chandler had an open wound on his head as it was suspected that he was shot in the head but the bullet ricochet and didn't penetrate through his skull. Nonetheless, it was a long journey of healing and trusting humans. He was around 10 months when we took him in, and now he's 2 and still NO ADOPTERS! His siblings are adopted, but Chandler is still waiting PATIENTLY for his forever home. Maybe it's his head wound that makes him less desirable, or that he takes a little time to warm up and trust new humans, but he really is the best boy and so so smart. He's a quick learner, very smart, loves to train/work/play. He's a great running partner, loves adventures, and is great in the car as well. Breed: Lab Pit Mix Age: ~ 2 yo Crate and potty trained. He walks well on leash. He is very playful with dogs. Loyal, loving, and sweet with his humans but takes time to warm up to new people. He is more nervous with men at first, but he loves his foster dad and many of the men he's met while in rescue. No young kids for Chandler as he has some wild zoomies and he doesn't know his size.
