The old saying, “You are as old as you feel” does apply to this Golden Year Boy! I might be 12 but I feel and act like I am six. Hello, my name is Chance, and I am an honorary Great Dane. I am a lab mix and was originally a rescue through Waters Edge Great Dane Rescue (WEGDR) and was returned due to both of my parents passing. See, WEGDR is so dedicated to the welfare of their dogs, no matter the breed or age, that if for some reason a dog needs to be returned, WEGDR gladly opens its home and heart to making sure we get a second chance at life.
I am a senior boy whose gray muzzle is starting to come through. I live in a house with other dogs but no cats so I don’t know how I will interact with them. I am good with kids of all ages. I am just so happy that I never stop wagging my tail. I love soft beds and a nice place to rest my bones.
So, do you think you can give this Golden Boy a second chance? As another famous Chance said, “Everybody’s somebody’s everything” and can you be my everything to live out the remaining of my Golden Years?
