Chance

This 6 week old Great Dane puppy was turned into the shelter by his owner. They had the puppy for only few days and noticed the puppy had some health issues. After a visit to the vet ,they found out that the puppy has a severe hip dysplasia , he has a heart murmur and he is vision impaired. They called the breeder, but she suggested that the will have the puppy put done. Instead, they took the puppy to the city shelter, knowing that we, the Great Dane rescue, will come for it..

Of course, we immediately picked up the puppy from the shelter and took it in for further check up and x-rays. The vet will determine what can be done for his hips. Since his hips are really bad, he will probably need a corrective orthopedic surgery, yet to find out the cost.

As usual, we are counting or kind hearted people to help us with donations, which will allow us to give this little pup the care he needs. He deserves a chance, and that will be his name!
