Chance

Chance's name says it all. He's just looking for someone to give him a chance. This handsome guy has only one request: to be your one and only pet, so he can have all your love and give you all of his in return. Chance loves people. He thrives on petting and play - pro tip: he loves chew toys, balls and playing fetch - and, of course, treats. The fact that he responds so positively to all those good things means he'll be a fun dog to train. He already knows how to sit and come on command, so you can build your bond with him by teaching him more of the basics and maybe some cool tricks, as well. Chance is an energetic boy who walks best on a harness, so he'd love a home where he'll get lots of physical and mental exercise. For the latter, think puzzle toys and treat-dispensing toys to work his brain. More for the plus column: He's housetrained and is well-behaved in the car. We think Chance would do well with children who are at least twelve, and we'd like to introduce him to the whole family here at the shelter to make sure everybody fits together well.
