Champ is a male purebred German Shepherd who is estimated at 9mths-1 year of age. Champ came to the shelter from the Salyersville area of Magoffin County as a stray. Champ is a beautiful boy, inside and out. He has a very loving disposition and has shown no aggression towards anyone or anything since coming into the shelter. Champ's only downfall is that he is extremely thin from obviously being on the run for a while. He appears to be in good health other than that and once he fills out, he will be even more gorgeous than he already is. Champ will be a large when he reaches his ideal weight which should be around 80 lbs or so. Champ's coat will grow and shine once he receives a stable diet of nutritious food. The pictures posted here don't even begin to do him justice. This boy is a real winner and someone will be very lucky to make him a part of their family.
