An absolutely beautiful Lab with an outstanding temperament, five year old Chaco is the kind of Lab you dream about. He has a lovely head with soft smiling brown eyes and is a perfectly proportioned 80 pounds. Happy, good-natured, affectionate, smart and playful, he's a delight to be around. Chaco comes to us from a very caring owner whose circumstances changed and who wants the best for her loved and well cared for companion.

There's so much to love about handsome Chaco! He thoroughly enjoys trips to the dog park, walks and hikes, playing with other dogs, chewing on bones and, most of all, being with people and having a paw in whatever you're up to. This friendly guy loves everyone and is very sociable. While comfortable and confident in his own fur, Chaco is a sensitive boy as well who relishes hearing he's the best dog ever.
As you would expect from a well loved Lab, Chaco is housetrained and been through an obedience course where he willingly learned his basic commands. Good leash manners make him enjoyable to walk. Being such a people lover, he can be a smidge overly enthused at first when greeting folks. In the house, he stays off the furniture and is welcomed as a good houseguest when he travels with you. He plays well with other dogs and is having a great time hanging around with his foster brother. Chaco has lived peaceably with an older cat. Like a true Lab, he's a major "foodie" so it's best to have edibles safely tucked away.
So handsome with a loving, playful personality that brings out the "life is good" feeling in you, Chaco is truly a gem.
