ChaChi and his siblings are lucky to be in rescue! Coming from overcrowded conditions at a backyard breeder meant either flea market sales or toss into small pens outside in the heat to become part of the breeding cycle.
ChaChi is a purebred, black & white, shihtzu pup born May, 2010. He is active, playful, affectionate,and pretty smart, too! Doing well with potty training and using a doggie door like a champ!
Shihtzus are known for their affection and happy attitudes. Bred for companionship to European royalty, these dogs LOVE being with you! Puppies, especially, require a strong committment for time, care, and training. They MUST be an inside member of the family! The shihtzu also requires regular, professional grooming.
WHAT MUST I DO TO ADOPT?
All adoptions begin with completing the online application found at:

Vet, personal, and groomer (if applicable) references will be required and will be checked.
WHAT IS THE ADOPTION FEE?
Adoption fees differ from dog to dog and are non-negotiable. We accept CASH ONLY. Fees cover the vet care, quality food, and medications necessary to care for the dog while in our foster home. We are volunteers - no paid employees here! Fees and donations are the only means to support our continuing rescue efforts. Adoption fees are non-negotiable.

DO YOU ADOPT OUT OF STATE?
Yes, when it is the best home for the dog. Transportation arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the adopter in addition to the adoption fee. PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT TRANSPORT AIR FREIGHT PUPPIES YOUNGER THAN 6 MONTHS OR SMALLER THAN 8 LBS. YOU MUST PICK UP THESE PUPPIES.
