My Story

Donate to the PALS Doggy Digs Fund!
The Poweshiek Animal League Shelter is raising funds for a dog housing expansion at the shelter. Money raised will enable construction of a 30 by 50 foot addition, which will house PALS dogs. It will include new indoor and outdoor kennels, and will give dogs freedom to come in and out of the building, all while staying safely contained.
Not only will this greatly benefit the dogs, but it will also benefit the cats, as the cat room will be moved to the current dog room, giving much more space for playtime. The cat room will be converted into a much needed isolation room.
Simply PayPal to [email protected] or mail your check to PALS, PO Box 123, Grinnell, IA 50112 - note that your donation is for the Doggy Digs Fund!
THANK YOU!!

Heeler (Australian cattle dog) mix. CeeCee is a sweetie-pie, always happy to see people, she is friendly and eager to please. She adapted very quickly to life at the shelter and has a very good-natured, easy-going personality. She is responsive and attentive to her handlers and enjoys learning. CeeCee loves sleeping with her teddy bear.

CeeCee's adoption donation is $95 which includes age appropriate vetting, microchipping, deworming, and shots. Please call or e-mail the PALS contact information located below to find out more about making this sweetheart a part of your family!

Please be patient with us - we're taking care of a lot of furkids - our own and the PALS kids - and we are all volunteers with families, homes and full time jobs. We'll return email and phone inquiries just as fast as we pawssibly can. Thanks!

ADOPTIONS: We don't let the fact that you might live out of state stop any adoption that's meant to be, but you MUST be willing to drive, or fly, all the way to pick up your new family member.

ADOPTION DONATIONS: Adoption donations for PALS animals go directly either to medical care for those or other furkids in need, or towards maintenance, supplies, and improvement of the newly-built shelter!
